Never get caught out again when your toddler announces the dreaded 'Need a weewee NOW!'. The Potette Travel Potty has folding legs so it will easily fit inside your changing bag. You simply unfold the potty and put on the special potty bags which have a super-absorbant insert to soak up any liquids. Once the task in hand is complete, tie the handles of the bag together and remove from the potty for disposal like you would a nappy sack. The liners are available as Refills in packs of 10 and they have recently been redesigned to be less bulky than previous versions - they even have pictures of Freddy Frog inside.
We found our travel potty indispensible during potty training as you don't get much notice and you are not always near a toilet. We also keep one in the car for emergencies - in fact, one of our friends with an eight-year-old still keeps one in her car for long journeys. We also took ours to friends houses that we knew didn't have trainer seats on the loo so that our daughter had a familiar place to do her potty stuff when it was all new and a bit scary.
The Potette Plus has an additional feature that the legs can also fold outwards and be used on a toilet as a trainer seat. This means that you no longer have to go out with a separate potty and fold-up toilet seat as the Potette Plus combines the two. This design also gives your Potette more longevity as when you child no longer wishes to use a potty and moves onto the big toilet, you can use it at home or when out and about to make them more comfortable when sitting on the loo.
These work really well but the price is too much - per bag they are more expensive than a napy and nappy bag!
