I bought this bag and then worried that it may be too heavy so I also bought the Pacapod Napier, to compare. The Phoenix wins - it may be a little heavier (1.5 pounds I think or thereabouts), but the quality of the leather and the fittings actually make it easier to use - the zips open and close much more easily and it is a really sturdy bag. To my mind, this is as good as a Mulberry handbag (which I love). I recommend this bag - the problem with the main compartment opening when hanging on the pram can be solved by crossing the straps over under the handle-bars, rather than putting them on straight (this probably does not make much sense but try it, it works).

This bag is perfect for me. It is totally organised and has a place for everything. If being organised appeals then get a pacapod. I finally feel like I haven't had to make a compromise buy getting an ugly, shiny or overpriced bag with poor quality leather. I can have everything in this bag and not another bag to carry my baby's food for example. Loads of room and if my husband wants to use it he just takes the feeder and changer pod out and puts them on the buggy or puts them in his own rucksack, so quick and easy because everything can be contained in the pods.
I do agree with the other review about the pram clips but it is still very well made.
If want organisation and a lovely looking bag, well made with high quality materials then this is the one for you, if too expensive then I recommend the pacapod 'system' anyway.

Great bag, beautifully made and will get a lot of use. The only criticism I have is that being leather it is heavy and so the standard pram clips sewn into the bag may stretch the bag opening out over time. Once hung on the pram the middle section that is closed with a magnetic popper does not close anymore. Would be great if that section had a better closing mechanism and the pram clips could be attached to the silver rings on the sides of the bag. My solution has been to use two Buggy Buddy carabiners through the hoops, to which I can also attach my shopping; as this is a pricey bag, I want to keep it in good shape. Might one day even become a laptop bag...
