All of our children used GroBags when they were babies and we found them invaluable. They are in effect a wearable blanket that has a zip closure at the front so that your baby can sleep safely and not kick their covers off. The different tog ratings allow you to choose the correct layering for the ambient room temperature, and due to Gro Company's ongoing relationship with the Foundation of Sudden Infant Death, the Gro Bag is the only Baby Sleep Bag recommended by FSID. Some designs also have little holes so you can use them in conjunction with a 5 point harness for when you are out and about. This makes it easy to transfer a sleeping baby from carseat to cot without waking them up with the sudden feeling of cold sheets.

An ideal time to start using a GroBag Baby Sleep Bag is when your baby weighs more than 7lbs. It is very important to check that your baby's head cannot pass through the neck-hole when the GroBag is fastened for use. Please remember that these are recommendations only as all babies are different.

Make sure your baby's legs and feet have freedom to move about by ensuring that the GroBag is long enough. The lengths from shoulder to bottom are 0-6 mths 76cm and 6-18mths 94cm.

Each GroBag comes with a simple thermometer to check the ambient room temperature.
